Lily Ebert shares her incredible story of being taken to the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz with her mother, brother and three sisters, in July 1944. A small gold pendant, given to her by her mother, survived hidden inside the heel of her shoe.
A photograph of Lily holding her pendant (shown at the end of this video) features in our 100 Images of Migration exhibition.
