Matthew has been part of the Migration Museum team since 2016 and oversees communications, media outreach and audience engagement. He has previously worked as an editor, writer and journalist for a range of media and research organisations, including the Financial Times, Euromoney, MSN and China International Business.
A born-and-bred Londoner, Matthew has family roots in multiple countries, including Malaysia, China, Poland and Switzerland, as well as Norfolk, where his surname comes from. He is passionate about the museum’s work, ethos and story-led approach and excited to play a part in helping to deliver a permanent Migration Museum in London, allied to a network of venues across the UK and a digital storytelling hub.
