Collections Researcher
As the Collections Researcher at the Migration Museum, Lucy is working to increase the museum’s understanding of migration-related collections and materials held by other museums, archives and community heritage organisations. She is also developing the museum’s long-term approach for managing and evolving its digital and physical collections.
Lucy has worked in the museum sector for 15 years, most recently as Museum Development Officer in Suffolk. Previously, she worked on major projects at the Imperial War Museum. She was part of the content team for the new Holocaust Galleries and for the American Air Museum redevelopment. These roles involved finding, collecting and displaying many migration-related collections. Lucy has a BA in History from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Museum Studies from UCL.
