Head of Learning and Partnerships
Emily joins the Migration Museum Project from a background in education and youth development work. Following an anthropology degree she trained as a Citizenship teacher with Teach First in Manchester and then moved on to co-ordinate an international education programme encouraging secondary school pupils into philanthropy. More recently she has been pursuing her interest in young people and conflict resolution by working at Seeds of Peace summer camps, which bring teenagers from the Middle East and South Asia together in America, and taking an MA in Conflict Resolution in the Peace Studies division at Bradford University, where her dissertation focused on young people’s attitudes to diversity in France and the UK. She joins us after spending eight months co-ordinating projects for an international youth network NGO in the Hague.
