Our Migration Museum at The Workshop is open to visitors on Saturday 23 November from 12pm–6pm.
This will be the last chance for visitors to explore our Room to Breathe and Caribbean Takeaway Takeover exhibitions, view and buy unique artworks by members of The New Art Studio, a London-based therapeutic art studio for asylum seekers and refugees, have a cuppa and a chat in our Breathing Space Café and stock up on migration-related books and gifts in our shop. Admission to our exhibitions is free and there’s no need to book in advance.
We will also be hosting Cartoneras in London: Untold stories from Latin America, a creative workshop about a unique Latin American publishing phenomenon where you can try your hand at making your own cardboard book, from 3pm–5pm.
