Join south-east-London-based artist Nicola J Reid and get creative making your own ear cuff in preparation for carnival, festivals – or simply to add to your wardrobe.

Having spent 18 years creating carnival costumes for Notting Hill carnival and touring Europe with her designs and fresh from a recent pop-up at Urban Outfitters, Nicola is here to facilitate a fun ear-cuff designing workshop.

A feather feast – with gems, sequins, glitter and diamantés – will be provided for you to make your carnival or festival cuff for this summer season.

This is a free, drop–in event. No booking.

About Nicola J Reid

Nicola J Reid is a Creative Director/Visual Artist specialising in recycling and sustainable practices. Based at Livesey Exchange, her work as an artist ranges from carnival/festival designing and fashion production to delivering community events.

She teaches carnival arts and craft workshops for all ages, encouraging skill sharing and resourcefulness of recycled materials.

For Nicola, creativity is a form of self expression therefore she focuses on empowering others to tap into their creative side to create masterpieces that reflect their personalities. This is done through the exploration of fashion, design, materials and creative techniques.
