Join us for a closing event for Tribambuka’s solo show Nowhere to Go But Anywhere, which delves into the many meanings of home.

Experience the exhibition, enjoy musical, poetic and movement-based responses to the theme that the exhibition explores – and join the conversation.

The exhibition closes to the public on Saturday 25 May, so this will be your last chance to see the show and meet the artist.

The event runs from 6pm–8pm. Please arrive by 7pm to enjoy the performances. The event will finish at 8pm.

Performers include:

Yuliya Krylova, a visionary multi-disciplinary artist, masterfully integrates Butoh dance, painting, and eco-fashion to explore and express the complex tapestry of human experience and environmental consciousness. She uses dance for storytelling, inviting viewers to delve deep into the depths of the human experience and dissolve boundaries between art and observer.

Michele Moran, actor, performance artist, singer. Will be interpreting a selection of the public submissions relating to what home means in this extraordinary new world we all share.

C. Wright, a seasoned musician, singer-songwriter, and composer, who creates sumptuous folk-tinged vignettes, as introspective as they are optimistic. Having created the soundscape for the Nowhere to Go But Anywhere installation, he will treat us to a live performance on the closing night, weaving profound musical narratives in response to the exhibition’s main theme.

Berfin Aksu, a mutli-instrumentalist musician, emerged as Turkey’s youngest soloist to perform with an orchestra in 2006 and has since garnered international acclaim through her extraordinary violin performances and a multitude of prestigious awards.

Kirill Burlov, a formidable force in the dance world, seamlessly melds his talents as a performer, choreographer, and educator across illustrious stages from the Royal Opera House to the English National Ballet. On the closing night, Kirill Burlov will deliver a unique performance shaped by audience descriptions of what home means to them.

Tribambuka invites audiences to delve into the intricate layers of ‘home’ through an ambitious interactive exhibition at the Migration Museum in London. Curated by Aditi Anand, Nowhere to Go but Anywhere presents an immersive journey through the artist’s sketchbooks, encompassing drawings, collages, writing, found materials, printmaking experiments, animations, film, and photography. The exhibition is accompanied by a soundscape composed by J. C. Wright that weaves together multilingual voices from diverse London communities, exploring their interpretations of ‘home’.
