Journeys Festival International invites you to share your thoughts and network over a free coffee and slice of cake. The discussion will be about Documenting Refugee and Asylum and the impact / benefits art and creativity can have on those who have had traumatic experiences.

The event will take place in the Lightbox gallery space in Leicester, with the Migration Museum’s Call Me by My Name pop-up exhibition giving a context for the discussion. Sue McAlpine, curator at the Migration Museum, and Mani Darjazi, a refugee artist who was in the ‘Jungle’ camp, will both be guest speakers. The discussion will be chaired by Journeys Festival International’s very own executive producer, Nicola Middler.

The event is free, but registration via Eventbrite is essential.
