The Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Eccleshill, Bradford in 1990.

Bradford once had the largest community of Ukrainians in western Europe. Unable to return to a Ukraine under Soviet rule at the end of the Second World War they came to work in the city’s textile industry. Read more

I chose this photograph as it looks so Ukrainian, despite being taken in a converted Wesleyan Chapel in Yorkshire.
