Sarah Caplin

Trustee

Sarah Caplin is a qualified solicitor and former TV executive for both the BBC and ITV in senior production and management roles. She was responsible for devising and producing a wide range of factual programmes, and launched the children’s charity ChildLine, for which she served as a trustee for many years. In 2012 she was part of the small team creating the Silver Line Helpline charity for older people.   

She is a keen supporter of the arts, a patron of the National Theatre and the Tate as well as a trustee of The Alfred Caplin Family Charitable Trust and is now studying part-time for an MSc in the department of Security and Crime Science at University College London.
